Birds are chirping. Cloudy skies and cold weather have been replaced by blue skies and warmer temperatures. People are starting to emerge from their winter hibernation and spend more time outdoors. Soon the flowers will be blooming. Spring is here! Spring is the time of year we think about growth and change. The AgeWell Services Wellness Program is also going through some changes at this time. We’d like to take this opportunity to introduce our new Wellness Manager, Kaytie Drake.
Kaytie joined AgeWell Services in August of 2020 as the Site Activities Manager for Senior Center Activities. She officially became the Wellness Manager on February 28, 2022. A few of her hobbies include petting every dog she meets, reading, and belting out songs in the car while driving.
She is a Ravenna native, but has been in the Muskegon area her entire life. Kaytie and her husband Ron have three beautiful dogs, Zeppelin, Jingo, and Goober, their newest four-legged addition.
Kaytie has been working with non-profit organizations since she began working at age 15 (her first job was at a library!) and is delighted to continue that tradition here at AgeWell Services. Along with her passion for non-profits, Kaytie is also a member of the Muskegon Rotary Club ReWine group.
Be sure to say hello when you see her in the Wellness Center!
