Healthy Harvest Kit Pick-Up

Why
Healthy food is vital for healthy aging. With the rising cost of food, purchasing healthy food can be unobtainable. The Healthy Harvest Kit is FREE box with healthy ingredients, recipe and detailed instructions for individuals and families to make together.

What
With funding through the USDA LFPA grant (Local Farm Produce Access), AgeWell Services is partnering with the Muskegon YMCA and Hackley Community Care to provide a Healthy Harvest Kit. With the majority of the ingredients included, Healthy Harvest Kits are healthy, easy to prep in “one-pot” and come with a recipe with detailed instructions.

Details of what will be in the box will be coming soon, but we’re excited to share our local farms and / or stores who are supporting the items in the Healthy Harvest Kit. Local farms and / or stores include –
Crisp Country Acres
Garlic City Gardens
Miller Poultry
Andrulis Cheese
Country Dairy
Cedar Crest Dairy (dairy distribution)
Orchard Market in Fruitport (chicken distribution)

Seniors and families residing in Muskegon Heights. No reservations required. Healthy Harvest Kits are available on a first come, first served basis.
