Thanks to funding through Senior Resources of West Michigan from the Muskegon County Senior Millage, we are able to provide various activities throughout Muskegon County. While there is no cost to participants, donations are always accepted. Below is a list of community-wide events, as well as events specific to each of our Lunch & Activity Centers and Partner Locations. Community Activities
Aquatics Exercise Classes – Muskegon Heights Public School Aquatics Center
Monday & Wednesday at 9:10-10:10 AM or 10:20-11:20 AM
We are committed to giving you the best benefits of a workout from head to toe. Stability, (able to keep your balance) mobility, (freeing up your joints) Strengthening, (muscle strength and toning) which will help you become a healthier you.
*Classes filled on a first come, first serve basis once registration opens the last full week of the month.

To participate, you must be at least 60 years of age and a resident of Muskegon County. Suggested minimum donation of $2 per class.

Stretch and More Class – Holton Branch Library
Tuesdays at 2:00 PM from March 7 to April 25
Learn a combination of health tips (arthritis and other), relaxation techniques, and stretching exercises. Work at your own pace to increase flexibility and reduce levels of pain and stiffness. This class can be done sitting or standing. Endorsed by the Arthritis Foundation.
To participate, you must be at least 60 years of age and a resident of Muskegon County. Suggested minimum donation of $2 per class.
