What is Discount Dine?

Discount Dine is a community dining program where older adults can enjoy fresh, restaurant style meals in a welcoming setting. It’s an affordable way to enjoy nutritious food while connecting with others in the community.

Who can participate?

Discount Dine is open to adults 60 and older. Friends, caregivers and family members are welcome to join and those 59 and younger may dine at the applicable rate.

Cost and Donations

How much does a meal cost?

Meals for adults 60 and older are a suggested donation set by the restaurant or community location. Meals for adults 59 and younger are set donations or rates set by the restaurant or community location.

Are donations required?

There is a suggested donation at each restaurant or partner location; however, no one is denied a meal due to their inability to donate. Donations help support meals and ensure the program remains available to others in the community.

Where are Discount Dine locations?

Discount Dine is offered at restaurant and community locations across Oceana, Muskegon and Ottawa counties. Each location offers a unique menu and dining experience.

When are meals served?

Meal days and times vary by location. We encourage you to check with your preferred Discount Dine location or visit the locations pages for the most up to date schedule.

Do I need a reservation?

This depends on the restaurant or community location. For Corine’s Soul Food, Cakes & Catering and Driftwood Cafe, reservations aren’t needed. For other locations, check out their websites for more information.

Getting Started

How do I get started?

Getting started is easy. For Discount Dine at either Corine’s Soul Food, Cakes & Catering or Driftwood Cafe, simply complete our Program Registration Form or register at one of the two locations. Once registered, you’ll receive a card Discount Dine card to load meal credits. For other locations, check out their websites for more information.

How do meal cards or credits work?

At both Corine’s Soul Food, Cakes & Catering and Driftwood Cafe, meals are accessed using a Discount Dine card. One credit equals one meal.

Can I bring someone with me?

Yes. Discount Dine is designed to bring people together. You’re welcome to dine with friends, family members, caregivers, etc.
