One of our favorite holiday traditions at AgeWell Services is the beautiful holiday card we send out, with a picture on the front from one of our local artists at the Tanglewood Park art studio. The warm and inviting artwork that graces the front of this year’s card was painted by Robert C. Burns.

About the Artist

Bob is a retired Muskegon Chronicle staff writer; he and his wife have been Tanglewood Park participants since 2013. Bob’s early works focused on landscapes and natural subjects in watercolor and oil painting mediums. He added acrylics while taking classes with Tanglewood’s art instructor Charlie Brown, later taking up pastel painting with Charlie’s successor, Joy Hulst. Recently, some of Bob’s watercolor paintings have been on display at the Muskegon Museum of Art Store.
