Meal Site Coordinator (Meals on Wheels)

Job Summary: 

  • The Meal Site Coordinator will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the luncheon program which includes outreach, planning, organizing and coordinating meals and activities, working with the board, village and advisory groups, recruiting, leading and supervising volunteers, and overseeing the Home Delivered Meal coordination as needed. This position is at our SHAWL location. The hours are Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday - 9:30 am - 1:30 pm and Tuesday 9:30 am - 10:30 am. This position is eligible for paid holidays and paid time off.

Stock & Receiving/Kitchen Float

Job Summary: 

This employee is primarily responsible for properly stocking and receiving AgeWell food and supplies.

Proper cleaning and storage of all items used in the production of meals. This includes maintaining orderly environment, assisting staff with items and routine cleaning and maintenance in the mornings of operations.

This employee is also responsible for cleaning the interiors of the Senior Transportation vehicles each day. Cleaning times will be 7am to 8am and 11:30am to 12:30pm.

The Stock and Receiver/Kitchen Float position is an hourly position and eligible to receive paid time off and holiday pay.

Food Service Team Member (Meals on Wheels)

Job Summary: 

  • With a variety of positions both entry level and skilled, AgeWell is always looking for new team members who are energetic, work well in team settings, are highly motivated and looking to make a difference.
  • All positions are part time and schedules will vary based on the position. Employees must be available Monday through Friday between the hours of 5:30AM and 3:00PM. When Cafe is running at full capacity may be asked to work Tuesday and Thursday evening's until 7 pm.

Substitute Meal Site Coordinator/Assessor (Meals on Wheels)

Job Summary: 

  • The Assessor position will assess home delivered meal participants, determine their eligibility for receiving service, and identify nutrition risk and other service needs. The pay is $12.40 for each competed assessment.

    The Sub for Meal Site Coordinator will be working at various locations performing day-to-day operations of the luncheon program which includes outreach, planning, organizing and coordinating meals and activities, working with the board, village and advisory groups, recruiting, leading and supervising volunteers, and overseeing the Home Delivered Meal coordination as needed. The pay for hours worked as a Sub Meal Site Coordinator is $10.50 per hour plus mileage.

Cafe Specialist - Part Time

Job Summary: 

  • The Café Specialist is responsible for efficiently expediting orders in a timely manner and with exceptional attention to detail. Must have exceptional customer skills and be able to problem solve quickly. The ideal candidate is responsible for determining work procedures and able to organize tasks accordingly. The Café Specialist position is part time and schedules will vary based on the demand. Employees must be available Monday through Friday between the hours of 6:00AM and 3:00PM. Hours and Days will vary.
