AgeWell Services is excited to announce a new meal site location in Oceana County. Starting Monday, October 3, 2016 AgeWell Services will be providing meals Monday-Friday at Noon to seniors at The Ladder Community Center, 67 N. State St. in Shelby.

State Rep. Holly Hughes, R-Montague, has scheduled five office hour sessions throughout Muskegon County on Wednesday, June 22, inviting area residents to participate in a discussion on state government.

Muskegon County to Vote on Senior Millage
Muskegon County residents will decide in the Aug. 2 election whether or not to pay a new property tax to fund senior services like Meals on Wheels.
Residents will be asked to approve a 0.5 mill property tax for services to senior citizens. The owner of a $100,000 home would pay about $25 a year.

AgeWell Services of West Michigan will host their annual “Heels for Meals” fundraiser benefiting Meals on Wheels on Saturday, April 23 from 6:00-10:00 p.m. at Watermark 920 at 920 Washington Avenue, Downtown Muskegon.

Tanglewood Park agencies showcase LifeCircles expansion, celebrate 8th year
The public will have an opportunity to see the expansion of Tanglewood Park, which opened in 2008 as a multi-agency service and activity center for older adults and their families. Tanglewood Park hosts four agencies – AgeWell Services, CALL 2-1-1, Senior Resources, and LifeCircles/PACE (Program for All-inclusive Care for the Elderly).
A community open house will be held Thursday, March 10, from 4-6 p.m., at 560 Seminole Road, Muskegon, with brief remarks and a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 4 p.m.
